The Western Sullivan Public Library’s 2012-2013 budget has been approved by the voters. Also on the ballot were three board of trustees positions. All three candidates were approved. They are returning board member Pam Reinhardt and two new members, Sui-Ling Ruiz and Barbara Winfield. All three will serve five-year terms.
The library also has a new director: Kristin White, who will oversee all three branches. White hails from Eastern Tennessee, but has spent the past 11 years in the Upper Delaware region. Her first library job was as a clerk at the Louise Adelia Read Memorial Library in Hancock, and in 2007 she was offered the director’s position at the Roscoe Free Library in Roscoe.
