Ultimately, the ZBA voted unanimously to send Smetaniak a letter advising him to enforce the town code and to order Lang to remove the sign within a week of receiving notification. If Lang refuses to remove the sign the ZBA said Smetaniak should treat the matter “like any other violation of town code.”
