Shirley (Worzel) Collins of Olean, NY passed away on January 6, 2018. She was 81.

She was born in Mill Rift, PA to Raymond and Emma Worzel. She graduated from Eldred Central School in 1954 with a total of 12 graduates, one of them being her sister Betty. In 1955, she married Clair Collins, who predeceased her on April 4, 2011. She worked as a housekeeper for St. John’s Catholic Church for over 35 years. She loved crafts and painting by number.

She is survived by two sons, Dale of Friendship, NY and David of West Virginia; two daughters, Vicki (Tom) Turock and Elly (Cliff) Frazier of Olean, NY; one brother, William (Martha) Worzel of Barryville, NY; two sisters, Betty Schields and Marilyn (Steve) Dellert of Shohola, PA; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister Frances Braun and grandson Billy Burton.

A celebration of her life will be held at the family’s convenience.
