George Galuschak

George Galuschak, age 80, of Shohola, PA passed away at home on Sunday, July 9, 2017. The son of the late George and Rose (Telep) Galuschak, he was born in Yonkers, NY on July 24, 1936.

After his high school graduation, George joined the Air Force and served from 1954 to 1958.

He graduated from New York University and became an aerospace engineer, working for Honeywell Corporation and Singer Kearfott during a long career which involved being sent all over the world. 

George is survived by his wife Elfriede (Jahn) Galuschak; son George Galuschak; brother Joseph Galuschak; niece Susan Maicovski and family; nephew Edward Kirchner and family. He was preceded in death by his sister, Anna Kirchner.

George was a member of St. Jacobi Lutheran Church in Shohola. He enjoyed golf, needlepoint, and Sudoku, but the most important part of his life was his family.

A memorial service will be held at St. Jacobi Lutheran Church in Shohola on July 22 at 11 a.m.  Burial will take place at German Hill Cemetery, Shohola. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jacobi Lutheran Church, PO Box 37, Shohola, PA 18458.
