Very busy weekend: on Saturday, I drove up to Cobleskill to go to my friend Paula’s annual pig roast. It took me over 3 hours to get there; I did make a few stops. I was having a really nice time seeing people I have not seen in a few months. When it started to rain, we were protected by two really nice carport tents. Around 6, it started to thunder and lightning—the winds were getting very strong: heavy rain, hail, and chairs were lifted off the ground. Those tents are a bent mess; the gill is dented from the hail. I felt like I was at Bethel Woods again—I was soaked, but thank God no one got hurt. On Sunday, I went to Scranton for a poker run fundraiser for little Bobby Fortuna. He’s 10 years old and is in stage 4 of kidney failure. His parents own the Hawley Garage—he is such a great kid. Keep him in your prayers.
