World champion martial artist to visit Port

PORT JERVIS — Internationally celebrated martial artist master Richard Byrne will visit Espie's Tang Soo Do Academy at 35 Front Street in Port Jervis on February 20 to give a series of seminars for the academy's students.

The public is invited to visit and watch the seminars and to meet Master Byrne who will be on hand to greet visitors and to autograph posters showing him in action.

Master Byrne is the founder and president of the American Tang Soo Do Association (ATA), and is a world champion in both karate and wrestling. He has appeared in numerous action movies, including "When Death Comes Quickly" and "Distant Justice" and in national television programs, including "Spenser for Hire" and "Against the Law." He has also authored articles for every major martial arts magazine.
