Top on the all-time Section 9 girls scoring list is 1988 Eldred grad Tammi Reiss, who ended her high school career with 2, 871 points.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY—This week, winter sports starts its inexorable ascent toward championships as Sullivan County indoor track athletes tested their mettle at the Sullivan County Championships at Sullivan County Community College on February 9. Runners, jumpers and throwers head to West Point for the OCIAA championship meets as the girls compete on February 11 and the boys vie against each other on February 13.

The Section 9 wrestling championships are also this week. Division I wrestlers, including Monticello and Port Jervis, vie at Monroe-Woodbury on February 11 and 12. Top wrestlers from Eldred/Fallsburg, Liberty and Tri-Valley advance in the Division II tilts at Onteora High School on February 10.
