NARROWSBURG, NY—Days gone past will be revived this weekend in Narrowsburg, with a series of events centered on the theme of local history.

History buffs can start off the weekend early on Friday, September 3 at Fort Delaware, where the theme will be “All things Colonial.” You’ll have an opportunity to churn your own butter and witness 18th-century cooking and bread making in a colonial oven. The loom weaver will be busy in the barn finishing up the last rag rugs for the season, which will be on sale at the gift shop. The Fort’s long weekend will continue through Monday.

How a family shaped a town

MILFORD, PA—A walking tour of downtown Milford that illustrates the many contributions to the community made by the prominent Pinchot family since the 1800s will take place on Saturday, September 4, beginning at 11 am.
