Kohrs receives Audubon scholarship

HONESDALE, PA — Kelsey Kohrs, left, is presented with this year’s Northeast Pennsylvania Audubon Society (NEPAS) scholarship by NEPAS Scholarship chair Christine Weigand. The $4,000 scholarship is presented annually to a graduating senior who plans to pursue a career in an environmental field, and is funded by the annual Arts and Crafts Festival, which was held July 17 and 18.

Kohrs, the daughter of Sue and Randy Kohrs of Honesdale, is a 2010 graduate of Honesdale High School and will be attending Juniata College to major in Environmental Science.
