Life on the set
The pantry is a commissary. A box filled with Ramen noodles and power bars obstructs the entrance. It belongs to the cast and crew of our sons latest enterprise, a feature film that features werewolves and witches, vamps and vampires.
Most second-homeowners escape the other-worldly aspects of city life, the demanding jobs or cramped living quarters. We escape the other-world populated by characters like Matt and Holly, the Werewolf and the Witch.

My heart belongs to Daddy
As Fathers Day looms on the horizon, synchronicity rules. Everywhere I turn I am constantly reminded that the Hallmark Holiday is upon us. This past Friday, I attended a free play reading as part of the new Forestburgh Theatre Arts Centers roster of events.
As the Forestburgh Playhouse ( FFBplayhouse.com ) evolves into a year-round facility, with extended programming and performances, the first order of business this season was a presentation of Chicago-based playwright Jayme McGhans newest work, The Fisherman.
