MARJORIE E. ARNOLD
Marjorie E. Arnold, a resident of Beach Lake, PA, died on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, PA. She was 90.
Marjorie was born August 19, 1919 in New York City, the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Strada.
She was married for 53 years to Cyrus J. Arnold, who survives at home. She was a parishioner of St. Johns R.C. Church, Honesdale, PA. She was a member of Sons of Norway.
A family statement reads: Marjorie was a loving, devoted and dear wife, mother and grandmother. She will greatly be missed by her family and all that knew her.
She is also survived by her son Robert R. Arnold of Middle Island, NY; and grandson Michael Arnold, a cadet at Fort Schuyler Merchant Marine Academy.
She is predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Suzanne Arnold.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Sunday, June 6 at St. Elizabeths R.C. Church. Christian burial followed at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
PEARL BJORKLUND
Pearl Bjorklund of Pinellas Park, FL, died peacefully Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Hospice House following a stroke. She was 84.
Born in Brooklyn, she was a late resident of Long Eddy, Callicoon and Mileses, NY.
She was a retired New York State insurance broker and homemaker, a charter member of Cornell Cooperative Extension Homemakers and a member of United Methodist Church of Fremont Center, NY. She attended N.M.C. of Callicoon, She was a member of the Red Hat Society (enjoyed wearing hats).
She liked performing in shows and sang in the chorus at Golden Gate Community.
She is survived by daughter Lois Lukas of St. Petersburg, FL; son Robert Bjorklund, his wife Anna and their children; a sister; and nieces.
She is predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Harold Bjorklund; and son Richard.
As per Pearls wish, there are to be no services. Private burial will be made in Long Eddy.
STEPHANIE L. BORCHERT
Stephanie L. Borchert, a longtime resident of Beach Lake, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA. She was 68.
The daughter of the late Gustave and Elizabeth Anderson, she was born November 6, 1941 in Flushing, NY.
Stephanie was married for 49 years to Ronald E. Borchert, who survives. She attended St. Francis Xavier R.C. Church, Narrowsburg, NY. She was a member of the Stitching Witches.
A family statement reads: Stephanie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was very crafty and loved to quilt and paint. She will be greatly missed.
She is also survived by children Tracy Borchert of Honesdale, Stacy Ferraro and husband Joseph of Bethpage, NY and Wayne Borchert of College Point, NY; brothers William Anderson and wife Joan of Virginia and Edwin Anderson and wife Marcia of Great Neck, NY; grandchildren Erica Elferis, Caesar Rivera Jr., Kristin Borchert, Jennifer Ferraro, Kathryn Ferraro and Elizabeth Ferraro; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to call at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 90 Main Street, Narrowsburg on Thursday, June 10 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier R.C. Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery, Narrowsburg.

RETA KALIN CLARK
Reta Kalin Clark of Orange Park, FL, formerly a lifelong resident of Pond Eddy, NY, passed away February 24, 2010 in Orange Park. She was 82.
She was born on June 10, 1927 in Hillside, NY, the daughter of the late Herman and Adelaide MacIntyre Kalin.
Reta graduated from Eldred Central School in 1944. She attended NYSU at Fredonia, NY and continued her education at SUNY New Paltz, achieving her Masters in Education. Reta taught at Eldred Central School from 1956 until 1986. She was a member of the Pond Eddy United Methodist Church, lay speaker, Sunday School Superintendent and teacher, chairperson of the building committee and a counselor for the Methodist Youth Fellowship Group.
Reta is survived by her son, Michael Clark and his wife Gayle of Green Cove Springs, FL; granddaughter Catie Clark; her sister-in-law Alberta Kalin of Avon Park, FL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was pre-deceased by her daughter Cherie Clark; and brother James Kalin.
Memorial services will be held Friday June 11 at 1:30 p.m. at the Pond Eddy United Methodist Church, 122 Berme Church Road, Pond Eddy. Rev. Paul Wells will officiate. Interment will follow at Glen Spey Cemetery, Glen Spey, NY. Following interment services, the Clark family would like to extend an invitation to everyone to join them for refreshments, fellowship and repast at the Pond Eddy Church fellowship hall.

KARIN CORRADO
Karin Corrado of Glen Spey, NY, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010 at her home. She was 67.
She was born on April 15, 1943 in Slovakia, the daughter of the late Gustav and Maria Minarikova Matysek.
Karin was an accounts payable clerk for HGI Skydyne, Inc., Port Jervis, NY and a retired assembler for Kolmar Labs, Inc., Port Jervis. Karin married the late Robert Conlon and then she was formerly married to Neil Corrado.
Karin is survived by her daughter, Colleen Conlon and husband Walter Newman Jr. of Glen Spey.
Memorial services were held on Thursday, June 3, at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., Port Jervis. The Rev. George Hafemann officiated. Interment took place at Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville, NY.
