LINDA ANN CANNIZZARO
Linda Ann Cannizzaro of Glen Spey, NY, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010 at The Kaplan Family Hospice Center in Newburgh, NY after her fight with cancer. She was 59.
She was born August 17, 1950 in Long Island City, NY, the daughter of Al and Lucille Perrento Ferraro.
A family statement reads: She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Linda was an outspoken woman who was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the out. She loved her two grandchildren dearly, as well as animals and antiques.
Survivors include her husband Craig C. Cannizzaro at home; son Edward Romeo Jr. and wife Julia of Milford, PA; daughter Jessica Marie Romeo Swingle and husband Joseph of Glen Spey; parents of Methuen, MA; brother Alex Ferraro, his wife Kristen and daughter Samantha of Methuen; sister Karen McCluskey, her husband Ronald and son Michael of N. Andover, MA; grandchildren Sophia Marie Romeo and Justin Swingle; several aunts, uncles and cousins; lifelong friends Vivian Spae of Wayne, NJ and Jackie Stevens of Paterson, NJ; and four dogs, Sammy, Roxanne, Sassy and George.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 2 at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Port Jervis. Burial will be at Glen Spey Cemetery, Glen Spey.

DONNA GENTY
Donna Genty of Port Jervis, NY died May 24, 2010 at her home. She was 52.
She was born February 12, 1958 in the Bronx, the daughter of the late Peter and the late Dorothy Bruno Lang.
She worked as an administrative assistant for many years at St. Josephs Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ.
A family statement reads: Donna was a caring daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend who enjoyed to laugh with family and friends. She will be missed dearly.
Surviving are one sister, Diana Cormier and son Todd Lang of Lake Huntington, NY; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. Cremation will be held at H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, PA.

MICHAEL GREGORY
Michael One-Eye Gregory of Huguenot, NY, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 at his home. He was 43.
He was born on December 25, 1966 in Westbrookville, NY, the son of the late Allan Gregory and Joan Van Sickle Gregory, who survives.
Mike was a laborer for Flanigan Creative Designs and Displays in Port Jervis.
In addition to his mother, Mike is survived by daughters Cheyenne Gregory of Port Jervis, NY and Rheagen Lee Gregory of Unionville, NY; sons Brandon Gregory of Port Jervis and Allan Gregory of Unionville; brothers Donald Gregory and wife Karen of Sussex, NJ, Danny Green and wife Donna of Sparrowbush, NY, Rodney Gregory and wife Kelly Ann of Glen Spey, NY and David Gregory of Eldred, NY; sisters Dawn Rene Brush and husband Jim of Glen Spey, Judy Teague and husband Rick of Huguenot, Dawn Marie McMullen and husband Tom of Port Jervis, Donna Dunning of Sparrowbush and Suzanne Baisley and husband Steven of Port Jervis; two grandchildren, Cora Lynn and Landon; several nieces, nephews aunts and uncles; and the mothers of his children, Arminda Gregory of Unionville and Heidi Messer of Port Jervis.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 3 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., Port Jervis. Rev. Don Coy will officiate. Interment will take place at Indian Orchard Cemetery, Honesdale, PA.
STACEY J. STRALKA
Stacey J. Stralka, of Saugerties, NY, died suddenly Saturday, May 29, 2010, at the Kingston City Hospital, Kingston, NY. She was 49.
Born November 17, 1960 on Long Island, she is the daughter of Elizabeth Duff and Edwin Jackson.
A graduate of Long Beach High School class of 1978, she was employed for several years in doing title searches and currently at the Saugerties Elks Lodge #2574, of which she is a member.
A family statement reads: She was an amazing, loving, devoted friend, mother, grandmother, and wife who inspired loved ones to be their best selves. She will forever be missed and loved.
Survivors include her mother of Spotswood, NJ; her father and stepmother, Chris Jackson of Narrowsburg, NY; her husband Christopher J. Stralka of Saugerties; son Michael Wirth and wife Brittany of South Carolina; stepsons Daniel C. and Jesse T. Stralka, both of Saugerties; sisters Diane Pepe of Spotswood and Lisa Jackson of Long Beach; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 3, at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral home, Inc., John and Lafayette Streets. Saugerties, NY. Interment will follow in the Blue Mountain Cemetery, Saugerties.
ALICE MARIE TANCZYN
Alice Marie Tanczyn of Matamoras, PA passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Bon Secours Community Hospital. She was 86.
She was born November 17, 1923 in Matamoras, the daughter of the late Frank and the late Hattie Cron Curtis.
She graduated from Matamoras High School in 1941. She was married to the late Stephen J. Tanczyn who passed away November 18, 2000. She worked in Milford during WWII and the Korean War as a Selective Service Agent. She helped military personnel with paperwork and dispatched them on buses to their Military Base Camps. She was a member of the Matamoras Alumni Association.
Alice was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by son Steven Tanczyn and wife Sandy of Glen Spey, NY; daughter Marilyn Tanczyn of Matamoras; brother Robert Curtis and wife Joyce of Matamoras; daughter-in-law Judy Tanczyn of Stroudsburg, PA; and grandsons Joseph Stephen and Matthew Robert Tanczyn of Stroudsburg.
She is predeceased by her son Robert Tanczyn; and her brother Frank.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 2, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Marys Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY. Cremation will be at H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, PA.
