NETTIE BABCOCK
Nettie Babcock of the Town of Greenville, NY passed away Friday, May 21, 2010 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus, Middletown, NY. She was 84.
She was born on December 22, 1925 in Hamburg, NJ, the daughter of the late William and Frieda Hanger Aumick.
Nettie was a member of the Otisville-Mt. Hope Presbyterian Church, Otisville, NY. Nettie married Glendon Babcock, who predeceased her.
She is survived by sons Glendon Babcock Jr. and wife Joyce of Lake Huntington, NY and Eric Babcock and wife Amy of Charlotte, NC; daughters Patricia Waters of Melbourne, FL, Terry Lyons and husband Walt of Maysville, NC, Glenda Jones and husband Charles of Monticello, Eva Martin and husband Daniel of Glen Spey and Ramona Conklin and husband Theodore of Huguenot; sisters Frieda Banks of Charlotte, SC and Leona Little of Port Jervis; 22 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She is also predeceased by several sisters and brothers.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 25 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., Port Jervis, with the Rev. Jeff Farley officiating. Interment will take place in North Hardyston Cemetery, Hamburg, NJ.
WILLIAM 'BILL' RYAN HARAMIS
William Bill Ryan Haramis of 4th Street, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010, in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. He was 73.
He was born December 12, 1936, in New York City, the son of the late Malama Lambrinos and Christos Haramis. In 1959, he married the love of his life, the late Helga Jean Haramis, who passed away on May 22, 2005.
From 1970 to 1980, Bill and Jean owned and operated Bills Variety Store in Callicoon, NY and from 1981 to 1985, they owned the Coffee Grinder in Honesdale, PA. Most recently they were owners of Kinfolks Family Restaurant, Selinsgrove, PA.
Bill was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, who cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed movies and an eclectic range of music; he was a political enthusiast and Yankees fan. He loved traveling, and visited China, Mexico, France and Greece. In the 1970s, he was a member of the Kiwanis Club and a volunteer firefighter in Callicoon.
He is also predeceased by one brother, Nicholas.
He is survived by his son Michael; daughters Stephanie and Kelly; grandchildren Valarie, Stephen, Katy, Athena, Lindsey and Kallista; sister Despina; and brother George.
There will be a visitation on Friday, May 28 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Friday at John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, 801 Market Street, Lewisburg, PA, where the funeral will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Father Michael Demko.
Burial will be in the Lewisburg Cemetery.

GRACE MOLLER
Grace Moller of Jeffersonville, NY, a homemaker, died May 22, 2010 at Catskill Regional Medical Center, Callicoon Division. She was 87.
The daughter of Andrew and Epifania Algeria Ridolfi, she was born July 28, 1922 in Manhattan.
A family statement reads: Gracie loved good friends and socializing. She had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. And in part: We little knew that morning that/ God was going to call your name./ In life we loved you dearly,/ In death we do the same./ It broke our hearts to lose you,/ You did not go alone;/ For part of us went with you,/ The day God called you home.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Arthur S. Moller at home; daughters Dianne Brady and husband Jim and Janet Scherf and husband Carl, all of Jeffersonville; granddaughters Amy Shursky and husband Nick of Factoryville, PA and Stacey Finney and husband Brian of Coopersburg, PA; sisters-in-law Edna Edge of Binghamton and Catherine Krum of Jeffersonville; special friends Charlene and Lou Hemmer and Evelyn and Howard Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by brothers Frank, Eugene and Salvator; and sisters Jeannette, Anna and Rosaria.
Services were held on Wednesday, May 26 at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, Jeffersonville.

MARIANNE SPUCK
Marianne Spuck of Callicoon, NY, Cape Canaveral, FL, and Bad Homburg, Germany, entered into eternal rest on May 11, 2010 at Horton Medical Center in Middletown, NY, after suffering a stroke and prior hip surgery. She was 82.
The daughter of Anna and Josef Novotny, she was born on July 2, 1927 in Pföhlwies, in what was then the German Sudetenland, Czechoslovakia. She was separated from her family during World War II, but they reunited in Germany. She and her husband of 52 years, Heinz, raised their only child in Germany. Marianne spent most of the last 25 years in Florida, where the sun and warmth gave her well-being and health, and she continued to spend time at her home in Germany and with her family in Callicoon.
She took great pride in the accomplishments of her daughter and her family and was a doting grandmother. She was the worlds best cook and baker, and will be remembered for her apple crumb cake and Christmas cookies. She often said that there was a way when there was a will. This determined attitude gave her the strength to overcome many medical issues.
She is survived by her daughter Rosemarie and husband Robert, her grandsons Marc and Matthew DeCristofaro, Callicoon, NY; brother and sister-in-law Josef and Agnela Novotny; sister Gerda Neumann; several nephews and nieces; and extended family and friends in the U.S., Germany and the Czech Republic.
She is predeceased in 2000 by her husband Heinz.
There will be a Mass of the Resurrection at Holy Cross Church in Callicoon on Sunday, June 6, at 2:00 p.m.
