Walsh retires from the cooperative extension

MONTICELLO, NY — Joe Walsh, the outgoing executive director of the Cornell Cooperative Extension in Liberty, received a certificate of recognition for service to the residents of Sullivan County from legislator Woody Wood at the government center on April 28.

Walsh told the lawmakers, “I know that you all hold agriculture to be very important for the county and for that I thank you for your efforts. It’s been my privilege and pleasure to work for Sullivan County for the past 12 years. I’ve made a lot of friends that I will remember and cherish for a long time to come.”
