SCDW reprises ‘Blithe Spirit’ for 60th anniversary SOUTH FALLSBURG, NY—The Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop (SCDW) will open its 2010 season with a production of Noel Coward’s comedy “Blithe Spirit,” the show that marked the original debut of the company in 1950, from Friday, May 7 through Sunday, May 16. |

Opera donors invited to concert at Church House LONG EDDY, NY—There will be a Delaware Valley Opera Donors’ Concert at The Church House, 6655 County Highway 28, on Friday, May 14 at 7:30 p.m. Performing at the concert will be Patricia Johnson, soprano; Anthony Turner, baritone; and Kenneth Hamrick, piano. The program will include music by Verdi and Puccini, and a forecast of the Lee Hoiby opera to be produced this summer. The concert will take place in the environs of a restored early 20th-century rural church. |
