From a lion to a lamb: springtime cometh

At the start of March, there was a blanket of snow on the ground from a late February snowstorm that dumped two to three feet of white on the ground. Step forward two weeks, and it hardly seems like that snowstorm happened. There are remnants of snow around, but most of it has melted, revealing the first budding plants of spring. With temperatures approaching 70 degrees Fahrenheit, people and wildlife alike were getting into the spring swing of things.

Protecting a legacy
