SCDW honors Black History Month with poignant play

HURLEYVILLE, NY—The Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop (SCDW) will hold a staged reading of contemporary African American playwright, John Henry Redwood’s “No Niggers, No Jews, No Dogs!” at the Sullivan County Museum in Hurleyville on February 28 at 5:00 p.m. by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.

‘Lost and Forgotten’ opens at the Alliance

NARROWSBURG, NY—“Lost and Forgotten,” an exhibition of paintings and works on paper by Sara Conklin, opens at the Alliance Gallery at 37 Main Street on Saturday, February 27, with a reception from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The exhibit will be on view through March 20.

MOUNTAINDALE, NY—The Mountaindale Community Development Project (MCDP) and Big Sky Productions will present a staged reading of John Ford Noonan’s play, “A Coupla White Chicks Sitting Around Talking,” on Saturday, March 6 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mountaindale Community Room at 62 Main Street.
