Mardi Gras costumes have environmental theme

HONESDALE, PA — Four members of the Greater Honesdale Partnership participated in the Second Annual Mardi Gras celebration on Saturday, February 15. Their costumes highlighted the abuse to the environment caused by the use of plastic bags and promoted reusable bags. The revelers are Jane Harvey, left, Tom Kane, Jeannie Wasman and Barbara Lewis.
