Fire department holds ice-fishing contest

MONTICELLO, NY—The Monticello Fire Department will be hosting its annual ice-fishing contest on Saturday, February 20 from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This event will take place at the Fireman’s Camp located on Sackett Lake, Rubin Road.

There will be cash prizes and trophies for the adult division and trophies for the kid’s division. The cost to enter the event is $10 per adult (14 and over), $5 per child age seven to 13 and children under six are free. The cost to enter includes a continental breakfast.
