Caribbean in ice is Crystal Cabin theme

LAKEVILLE, PA—The ice carvers at Sculpted Ice Works have crafted over 100 tons of ice into a Caribbean paradise for this year’s Crystal Cabin Fever, set for Thursday, February 11 to Sunday, February 28. Visitors can walk through a life-sized ice tiki hut and explore an ice treasure maze, ride the dual-run pirate ship ice slide and see ice dolphins, a coral reef display, reptiles, birds and more, all carved out of ice. Live ice carving shows and demonstrations will be ongoing. There will be free hot chocolate.

Honesdale holds its second Mardi Gras on Main

HONESDALE, PA—The Greater Honesdale Partnership’s second annual Mardi Gras on Main will be held on Saturday, February 13 between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Just as in New Orleans, local “krewes” will parade on the town’s sidewalks during the festival.

Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day Dance

HAWLEY, PA—The One Child Too Many A Brendan Kizer Foundation, Inc. will hold a Valentine’s Day Dance at the Wallenpaupack Area High School Cafeteria from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 13. There will be a DJ and Valentine’s goodies. Admission costs $6 per person, $9 per couple. Proceeds will go to benefit families who have children with cancer. For more information call 570/390-4187.
