Tee off on the lake

ELDRED, NY — The Town of Highland Lions Club will sponsor a golf tournament on Steges Lake at the Eldred Preserve on Sunday, February 14. Tee times will be from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If there is a thaw and no ice on the lake, the play will be on land. Emergency announcements regarding possible weather problems will be made on all local radio stations.

The cost is $10 for a single round, two mulligans for $2. Orange golf balls and special tees will be on sale for $0.75 per ball or $2 for three. A $15 package includes two mulligans, 10 50/50 tickets and three balls and tees. There will be cash prizes in a variety of categories including nearest to pin and longest drive.

Prepaid ticketed players get reserved tee times. Tickets can be purchased at the Eldred Preserve, online at toh-lionsclub.org or directly from any Town of Highland Lion’s Club Member.
