CAS to hold Russian Nights dinner event

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — The Catskill Art Society (CAS) Arts Center will host Russian Nights, an evening event that will include a special menu created by Chef Rob Rayevsky of Rolling River Café, on Friday, February 19 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Dinner will be served in ceramic and antique bowls, created by CAS students and area potters, that guests can take home. The ticket price includes the Russian feast; a take-home bowl of your choice; a Russian beer sampler donated by Gasko & Meyer; wine and other beverages; one chance in the From Russian with Love raffle; and a screening of the film “White Nights,” directed by Taylor Hackford and starring Mikhail Baryshnikov, Gregory Hines, Helen Mirren, and Isabella Rossellini. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase, with raffle items donated by local businesses.
