Beekeeping workshop

HONESDALE, PA — The Wayne County Beekeepers’ Association and Penn State Cooperative Extension in Wayne County invite residents to learn how to start the hobby of beekeeping on Saturday, February 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Wayne County Visitors Center, 303 Commercial Street in Honesdale.

The Wayne County beekeepers have trained 59 new beekeepers in the last three seasons. They will teach attendees the basics and help them get bees, hives and related equipment by April.
