Ice fishing contest for kids

COCHECTON, NY — The Jerry Sheppard Memorial free youth ice fishing contest will be held on Saturday, February 6, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The contest, open to youth age 16 and younger, will be held at 202 Mitchell Pond West. The event is sponsored by the Forz Or Morz Hunting Club, the Sheppard family and the Federation of Sportsman’s Clubs of Sullivan County, Inc.

Bait and refreshments will be supplied, and there will be prizes for all entrants. No ATVs or snowmobiles will be allowed. For more information call 845/932-8152.
