‘Normal’ screened

at Intersessions

BEACH LAKE, PA — There will be a showing of the film “Normal” at 2:00 p.m. on February 7 at the Berlin Township Community Center, as part of the UDUUF “Intersession” series, highlighting poetry, art, film and music as creative spiritual expression.

“Normal” is a compelling story of a family in transition as Roy, who has been married to Irma for 25 years, reveals that the stress of being a woman in a man’s body has grown intolerable. Through this heart-warming story about acceptance and love, the film explores gender stereotypes and how one family maneuvers through societal pressures to conform and finds a way to support each other through a difficult journey.
