Women and Their Woods

HAWLEY, PA — The PPL Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center will offer a workshop “Women and Their Woods” on Saturday, February 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Women forestland owners can learn about funding available for conservation opportunities on their property offered through the National Resources Conservation Service office and the 2008 Farm Bill. There will be a potluck lunch and a session to plan for future programs. The snow date will be Saturday, March 6.

The Women and their Woods group holds three to five meetings per year and is open to all women who own forestlands.
