Art sale and concert benefit Haiti

NARROWSBURG, NY — A Haitian earthquake benefit concert and art sale will take place on Friday, January 29 at the DVAA Arts Center on Main Street.

The art sale will begin in the Loft Gallery at 6:30 p.m. and will feature many works by area artists. The concert will follow, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Gloria Krause Recital Room. Two Cats and a Hat, a musical group that includes Bob Lohr, David Dann and Annie Hat, will perform jazz standards. Singer and pianist Kazzrie Jaxen will also be featured. The concert is free. Donations in any amount are strongly encouraged.

All proceeds from both the art sale and the concert will be sent to Doctors Without Borders ( doctorswithoutborders.org ), an international medical humanitarian organization.
