Green Herons roost in Sullivan
SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY The Upper Delaware Writers Collective sponsored the Green Heron Poetry Project to promote poetry in public spaces. Twelve posters featuring the 12 winning poems centered on the theme Create the reality that youre hoping for are now on view throughout the county.
Posters are hanging in Narrowsburg at Roasters, Enochian and Main Street Café, all located on Main Street, in the Tusten-Cochecton branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library (WSPL) on Bridge Street, and in The First National Bank of Jeffersonville, 155 Kirk Road; in Callicoon at Café Devine and the Delaware Free Branch of the WSPL, both on Lower Main Street; in Lake Huntington at Our Place on the Lake, Route 52; in Livingston Manor at Henry and Hamish Bookseller, 34 B Main Street; in the Jeffersonville branch of the WSPL, 19 Center Street; and in The Literacy Center, 63 North Main Street, Monticello.
The posters will be circulated to different locations in the coming months.
