Supper and a show at Café Devine

CALLICOON, NY — The Café Devine will hold its first “Supper and a Show” with Valley Improv Group (VIG) performing comedy skits on Saturday, January 23. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and the show will start at 7:00 p.m.

The VIG describes itself as “a group of Dutchess County goofballs dedicated to making you laugh, cry, or just scream in terror at our improvisational comedy.”

The event will feature a lasagna supper with a choice of vegetarian and meat lasagna, salad, garlic bread and dessert. Drinks will be available for purchase. The cost is $25 per person and seating is limited.

Choral auditions

MILFORD, PA — The Delaware Valley Choral Society will be having open auditions following regular rehearsals at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday on January 17 and 24 at the Milford United Methodist Church, located at 206 East Ann Street.

Anyone wishing to join the choral society is encouraged to come sing at rehearsal and meet the current members. This spring, the Delaware Valley Choral Society and Orchestra will perform the Requiem by Gabriel Fauré, along with his Cantique de Jean Racine.
