Learn skating secrets from a gold medalist

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — Morgan Outdoors, 46 Main Street, will host Christopher Bartlett, a double Gold Medalist in figure skating and a former professional figure skater with Disney On Ice, for a unique skating Q&A program for all ages and abilities. The program will take place on Sunday, December 20 at 1:30 p.m. It will be followed by free professional fittings for both new and gently-used skates; appointments are recommended. Bartlett is donating 12 pairs of new and used skates to the Livingston Manor Rotary Club’s skating program, where donated skates are available for use on Rotary Rink.

Bartlett is founder and CEO of Skaters Landing, the largest figure skating retail chain in the United States. He has worked in every capacity of the ice industry from business owner to coach, and has served as the chief technician at numerous U.S. National and World Championships. Christopher has provided services to such iconic skaters as Oksana Baiul, Dorothy Hamill, Brian Boitano and Sasha Cohen.
