Notecards benefit NACL

HIGHLAND LAKE, NY — The above is one of two note card designs created for the NACL Theatre by designer Stacy Wakefield-Forte, who lives in Livingston Manor and is on the NACL board. They were hand made using a “Print Gocco” machine, which is a Japanese silkscreen machine, and were printed by Wakefield-Forte along with board member Mimi McGurl on a kitchen table, with the inspiration to link the current activities of avant garde NACL Theatre with the graphic style of the classic Catskills entertainment era.

The cards, which cost $8 per box and benefit the theatre, can be purchased at DVAA Signatures Art Shop in Narrowsburg, or at Hamish & Henry Booksellers or the Catskill Art Society in Livingston Manor. They may also be purchased through NACL, online at nacl.org or by calling 845/557-0694.
