Open Call for 2011 exhibition proposals at CAS

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — There is a February 1, 2010 proposal deadline for artists interested in submitting an application for the 2011 exhibition season at the Catskill Art Society (CAS) Arts Center. This is a postmark deadline.

All proposals must include a cover letter with 2011 availability, a resume, a short biography (no more than three sentences), an artist statement regarding the proposed work and a minimum of 10 proposed images in JPEG format with a file size of 800 pixels high on a CD. Also include a list of work samples with media and dimensions of each piece. Slides are not acceptable.

Proposals should be sent to CAS, c/o 2011 Exhibition Season, PO Box 991, Livingston Manor, NY 12758.

All proposals are reviewed by an outside jury panel of independent curators that changes each year. CAS will notify all applicants before the end of April 2010. Artists who presented their work as part of the 2010 season will not be eligible to re-apply until 2012.
