Thanksgiving open house at White Mills

WHITE MILLS, PA — Several historic attractions in downtown White Mills will be open with free admission on Saturday, November 28 and Sunday, November 29 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. The sites include the restored 1867 Glassworker’s House, the 1911 Fire House and the original Lock Tender’s House.

The Dorflinger Glass Museum and Gift Shop will be open Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Lacemakers will demonstrate the techniques of bobbin lacemaking and tatting at the glassworker’s house on Charles Street on Saturday from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. The house will be decorated for the holidays by curator Kurt Reed, who will use antique flat Dresden paper ornaments to trim the tree.
