Images of Wayne offered in silent auction

HONESDALE, PA — Jeff Hiller’s photo exhibit at the Wayne County Historical Society, “Wayne County Faces and Places,” will close on December 31, but until November 28, many of the framed photos are being offered for sale in a silent auction. At right is “Dogwood,” which will go to the high bidder during the society’s annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 28. The open house begins at 4:00 p.m. and there will be time to bid until 6:00 p.m., when bids will be opened and winners announced.

Photos may be viewed at the society’s museum at 810 Main Street museum from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Bid sheets are available in the exhibit. For more information email wchshop@ptd.net or call 570/253-3240.
