Murder and mayhem at the library
…and a patient ear for the little ones
JEFFERSONVILLE, NY Mystery author Caroline Crane will visit the Jeffersonville branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library on Saturday, November 21 at 4:00 p.m. to read from her new book, Murder and Mayhem in the Catskills.
The book tells the story of Murder, Inc., the deadly arm of organized crime that left bodies scattered through mountains and lakes. It tells of murders from early Colonial days to the present time, of a wife missing for three years and where she was eventually found, of a night intruder and his juvenile victim who left a trail of blood across a field.
Crane is a member of Mystery Writers of America and the American Crime Writers League. Her novels of have appeared as book club selections and have appeared in both American and overseas editions.
Shes all ears
Also on November 21, 2009 at noon, children will have the opportunity to read to Fiona the Reading Dog at the Jeffersonville Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library. Space is limited; visit the branch or call 845/482-4350 to sign up.
