Storytime for youngsters
MONTICELLO, NY Literacy Volunteers will present Storytime on Saturday, November 14 at 10:30 a.m. at The Literacy Center at 63 North Street. A New York State certified teacher who has taught Kindergarten will be reading to the children, incorporating an interactive activity and an arts and crafts activity. Storytime is appropriate for children four through six years old and is free and open to the public. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Church holds Christmas fair
LIBERTY, NY A Christmas fair and luncheon will be held on Saturday, November 14 at the Liberty United Methodist Church from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be vendor tables including Arbonne, At Home America, Creative Memories, Lia Sophia Jewelry, Longaberger, Pampered Chef, Partylite, Stampin Up, Tastefully Simple, Tupperware and more. The entry fee is $2.

Voice lessons available
JEFFERSONVILLE, NY The Janice Center will offer voice lessons with Stephen Faubel, a graduate of Penn States School of Music. Faubel has a long musical background including singing with the St. Thomas Choir of Men and Boys in New York City, studying voice with Norman Campbell, Alice Welker, and Dr. Malloy of The Eastman School of Music, and serving on the faculty of the prestigious Black Bear Conservatory of Music. He is an active performer in the Hawley, Pennsylvania community, serving as pianist/music director at Bethany Presbyterian Church, and pianist for the 2009 season musical at the Ritz Company Playhouse.
