Woman missing near the river

NARROWSBURG, NY — A helicopter flew over the Upper Delaware River on November 1, as officials from the New York State Police searched for a missing woman in the Narrowsburg area.

Gail L. Greico-Weishoff, age 36, of Staten Island was last seen in Narrowsburg on Wednesday, October 28 at about 10:00 p.m. She is 5 feet tall, weighs 90 pounds and was last seen wearing a blue shirt with flowers, tan pants, a black jacket and white sneakers. The state police are searching the Delaware River with divers and helicopters as her pocketbook and other articles were found near Second Avenue on October 30, indicating Greico-Weishoff may have been at the river’s edge at some point. The National Park Service is assisting in the case.
