Legend Tom Rush comes to Bethel Woods

BETHEL, NY — On Friday, November 13 at 8:00 p.m. folk-legend Tom Rush, credited by Rolling Stone with ushering in the singer/songwriter era with his 1968 album, “The Circle Game,” will perform at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts Events Gallery.

Rush’s impact on the American music scene has been profound, helping to shape the folk revival in the ‘60s and the renaissance of the ‘80s and ‘90s, leaving his stamp on generations of artists. James Taylor, Emmylou Harris, Tom Petty and Garth Brooks have cited Rush as major influences. His early recordings introduced the world to the work of Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne and James Taylor. Earlier this year, his first full-length studio album in over 30 years, “What I Know,” was released.

Reserved seats for Tom Rush cost $40 in advance. Ticket prices increase $5 the day of show. Tickets are available at BethelWoodsCenter.org, by phone at 800/745-3000, or during regular Bethel Woods Box Office hours Thursday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
