Haydn and Mendelssohn celebrated in Tusten concert

NARROWSBURG, NY—Soprano Kate Hurney and pianist Katherine Addleman, assisted by Carolyn Steinberg on flute, will commemorate the anniversaries of Joseph Haydn (1732 -1809) and Felix Mendelssohn (1809-1847) in a concert titled “They Went to London,” at the Tusten Theatre, 210 Bridge Street, on Saturday, November 7 at 8:00 p.m. The event is presented by the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA).

Legend Tom Rush comes to Bethel Woods

BETHEL, NY—On Friday, November 13 at 8:00 p.m. folk-legend Tom Rush, credited by Rolling Stone with ushering in the singer/songwriter era with his 1968 album, “The Circle Game,” will perform at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts Events Gallery.

Art in Sixes returns for the sixth holiday season

NARROWSBURG, NY—Giving art lovers a head start on their holiday gift giving, “Art in Sixes,” an exhibition of small works by local artists, opens at the Delaware Arts Center’s Alliance Gallery on Saturday, November 14, with a reception from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The exhibit will be on view through December 23.
