Chamber music at St. Andrews
SOUTH FALLSBURG, NY St. Andrews Episcopal Church will present a concert of music for winds and strings on Saturday, October 24, at 8:00 p.m., part of the Chamber Music at St. Andrews series.
The free concert will feature six world-class musicians performing Mozart, Beethoven, Villa-Lobos and Ingolf Dahl. The concert is also a celebration of the life of the late Henry Schuman, oboist and conductor, who was well known on the international concert scene.
Clarinetist Steven D. Hartman is associate principal clarinet of both the New York City Ballet and New York City Opera Orchestras, as well as other world-class orchestras. He will be joined by oboist Randall Wolfgang, principal oboe with both the New York City Ballet and the New York City Opera orchestras; bassoonist Frank Morelli, a member of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and the woodwind quintet Windscape; and violinist Erica Kiesewetter, concertmaster of the American Symphony Orchestra and Opera Orchestra of New York, among others.
