Bialos and Hicho share Artery spotlight

MILFORD, PA — The Artery gallery in Milford, PA will feature two award-winning artists, Al Bialos and Greg Hicho, for its October show. The exhibit runs from October 8 through November 9, with an artist’s reception on Saturday, October 10 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., coinciding with Art After Dark.

Bialos, a long-time member of the gallery, is influenced by musical themes. In his acrylic and mixed-media paintings, Bialos simplifies and reduces his forms into flat shapes with startling contrasts of value, texture and color.

Hicho’s watercolors offer new vistas of the human figure. His subjects of everyday people captured at a particular moment, are painted with great clarity, accuracy and attention to detail.

The Artery , located at 210 Broad St. in the Forest Hall building at the stoplight in Milford, is a cooperative gallery owned and operated by its members. Regular gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday, 11:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. and Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

For further information call 570/409-1234.
