Red Eft artists celebrate stewardship

WURTSBORO, NY — The Red Eft Gallery is holding an exhibition “Sacred Grounds, Honored Spirits,” that brings together the work of nine artists exploring the excitement and beauty of our relationship to and responsibility for the flora and fauna that surround us.

The artists use painting, sculpture and photography to explore the lands we have chosen to preserve, and the animals with which we share the planet. The show will run through October 31. There will be an artists’ reception from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10.

Participating artists include Jerry Cohen, Linda Bayer Domanoski, Fritz Drury, Elinore Hollinshead, William Rivelli, Judy Sigunick, Phil Sigunick, Thomas Stratton and Marlene Wiedenbaum.

Red Eft Gallery is open Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., Saturday from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. For more information call 845/888-2519.
