Rustic Craft Festival at Bethel Woods
BETHEL, NY The Harvest Festival at Bethel Woods will conclude on Sunday, October 11 with the Rustic Craft Festival, featuring the largest gathering of craft artists ever assembled at Bethel Woods. As many as 80 local artisans will feature hand-made country home crafts including wood carvings, home furnishings, pottery, accessories and other accents for the home. As always, there will also be live music, book signings, childrens activities, a corn and hay maze and more.

Pumpkinfest
BARRYVILLE, NY The seventh annual Greater Barryville Chamber of Commerces (GBCC) Pumpkinfest will take place on Saturday, October 10 (rain date October 11) starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Springhouse Commons. This years contests will include pumpkin pie eating, scarecrow making, pumpkin decorating and costumes, with cash prizes. The GBCC will collect funds and non-perishable food items during the event for CROP Hunger-Walk PJ/Tri-State Team, donating the food items directly to seven local food pantries.
Entertainment will include performances by Sommerville, The Travist Lloyd Band, Bashiri Johnson & Jahn Stix, and Fiddlin Around. The event will conclude with a fireworks display scheduled for 8:30 p.m., donated and brought to you by The Springhouse Commons and the Datys Family.

Fall Foliage Festival
PORT JERVIS, NY The 17th annual Fall Foliage Festival will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11 in downtown Port Jervis. There will be live entertainment, food, antiques, crafts, classic cars and more.
In conjunction with the festival, the Tri-State Classic 10K Road Race will be held, starting at 8:30 a.m., and the Tri-State Bariatrics Back to Basics Walk starting at 9:00 a.m. for those who arent into running. It will also be Art for the Animals Day at the UpFront Studio.

Jeff Bank calendar photos on display
JEFFERSONVILLE, NY The winning photographs from a contest held by the First National Bank of Jeffersonville (Jeff Bank) and the Catskill Art Society (CAS), Four Seasons of Nature & Landscapes in Sullivan County, NY will be unveiled at a reception at CAS from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9. The 13 winning entries will be featured in the Jeff Bank 2010 photo calendar. The Basha Kill, Mongaup Reservoir and the Delaware River Valley are just a few of the local scenic locations represented in the calendar.
The photographers will be on hand, light refreshments will be served and the 2010 Jeff Bank calendars will be available for a suggested $5 donation to CAS.
The Jeff Bank photo contest initiative, organized by CAS, was undertaken by Jeff Bank to support the arts community and also as a way to include locally photographed images in the annual bank wall calendar. The calendars will also be available at Jeff Bank branches starting October 10.
