Antique and vintage glitz at The Ritz

HAWLEY, PA — The Ritz Theatre will raise the curtain on the 23rd Annual Hawley Fall Foliage Antique Show & Sale on Friday, October 9 with a special Patron’s Preview and Harvest Tea (open to the public) from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A hallmark of the long Columbus Day Weekend, the Ritz Theatre antique show will continue on Saturday (10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) and Sunday (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). The Friday evening affair provides a sneak preview of the show and includes catered seasonal fare such as fancy finger sandwiches, goodies for the sweet-tooth, and mulled cider.

Once home to vaudeville productions and a part of the Comerford movie syndicate, the Ritz Company Playhouse just completed its 37th year. The deco-era theatre is a destination in itself.

The donation for the Friday evening preview is $6 per person, or for the show and sale Saturday and Sunday $3.50 per person, to benefit the Ritz. For more information call 570/226-9752.
