ROLLIN H. ARNOUL
Rollin H. Arnoul of Lackawaxen, PA, a former owner of Barnes Oil Co. and longtime resident of the area, died Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, PA. He was 75.
The son of the late Harry and Adalyn M. Arnoul, he was born in Glenridge, NJ on May 1, 1934. He was married for 54 years to Lorraine E. Dawson, who survives.
Rollin served in the U.S. National Guard. He was also a precision and design layout designer for a sheet metal company.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Kenny Arnoul and wife Laura of Lackawaxen; a daughter, Jody Cahill and husband Michael of Lackawaxen; grandchildren Kenneth Arnoul Jr., Travis Cahill, Kelsey Cahill and Logan Cahill; two great grandchildren; and three nieces.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

MARY F. BAUM
Mary F. Baum, a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Jeffersonville, NY, died Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY. She was 79.
The daughter of the late Paul and Johanna Bahan Schwatz, she was born May 3, 1930 in Liberty, NY. Mary was the widow of Conrad Baum Jr. and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Jeffersonville.
Survivors include five daughters, Cindee Baum and Sandee Baum at home, Lois Brockner of North Branch, NY, Sharon Englehardt of Orlando, FL, Constance Freidenstine and husband Harold of Youngsville, NY; one son, Conrad Baum Jr. of Callicoon Center, NY; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary is predeceased by three sisters and two brothers, Edith Schaefer, Susanna Mall, Katherine Bryan, Joseph Schwatz and Paul Schwatz.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

JEANNETTE E. CAPRIANO
Jeannette E. Capriano entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 20, 2009, suddenly at her home in Glen Wild, NY. She was 79.
The daughter of the late John Harmady and Elizabeth Blasko Harmady, she was born August 22, 1930 in Manhattan.
A professional artist, she painted murals for local fire departments and for fire departments in NYC, including the training center on Randalls Island. Jeannette donated the reproduction rights to her painting Reverence for Life, as well as several others, to the NY Firefighters Burn Center Foundation. In addition, her works hang in the National Art Museum of Sports in Indianapolis, and many private collections and galleries including the Red Eft Gallery in Wurtsboro NY.
She was a member of the Catskill Art Society, the National Society of Mural Painters, National Arts Club, Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club and The Art Students League, where she was a life member. She was a recipient of many awards, special honors and juried exhibitions throughout the U.S. She was an honorary member of the Hurleyville NY Fire Department.
In later years, Jeannette turned to quilting, in which she received various local and national awards. She was a member of the American Quilters Society, the Calico Geese, and was recently inducted into the Quilters Hall of Fame. She was a member of the Purple Geese Redhatters.
Mom lived a full and happy life, busy volunteering at her church and taking care of her family and friends. She will be missed by all.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Michael Patrick Capriano of the Bronx; children Jan M. Bennett and husband Donald of Smallwood, NY and Michael John Capriano and wife Barbara of Huntington Beach, CA; brother Robert Harmady of Queens; and granddaughter Lindsay Kesten of Glenville.
Her funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, September 24 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Monticello with Fr. Timothy Wiggins officiating. Burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx.

DOROTHY LOCATELLI DRAKE
Dorothy Locatelli Drake of Long Eddy, NY entered into eternal rest at home Tuesday, September 22, 2009 surrounded by loved ones. She was 83.
She was born March 28, 1926, the daughter of the late Viola and Natale Locatelli.
A family statement reads: Mom, Grandma, will be missed greatly and will forever live in our hearts. She was wonderful and caring, putting our needs first. No one could ever love us like she did; she truly knew Gods command to love unconditionally. We know she will be looking in on us through our good times and tough times.
Dorothy is survived by six children, Charlotte Zupetz and husband John, Leon Drake Sr. and companion Virginia, Donna Torch and husband Bill, Debra Pittenger and husband Carl, Christopher Drake and wife Linda and Victoria May and husband Joel; sister-in-law Joanne Mcdermott and husband Patrick; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy is predeceased by her brother, Frank Locatelli.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 26, for family members.
NORMA MILLIGAN EDELMANN
Norma Milligan Edelmann, a longtime resident of Pittstown, NY and co-founder of Edelmann Sales Inc., died Saturday, September 19, 2009 at St. Marys Hospital in Troy, NY. She was 83.
Norma was born January 28, 1926 in Lake Huntington, NY to Alice Kiesler Milligan and Edwin Milligan. She attended Narrowsburg High School in Narrowsburg, NY. Normas husband, Frederick W. Edelmann, predeceased her in 1981.
In 1966, Norma and Fred started their snowmobile sales and service business at the family home. Norma remained active in the business until her death. She was the first president of the William T. Rohrmann VFW Post Ladies Auxiliary in Lake Huntington.
Norma is survived by her son, Clark Edelmann and wife Mary of Pittstown; daughters Susy Gavagan and husband James of West Hoosick, NY and Mary Lou MacNaughton and husband Paul of Pittstown; sister Jeanette Cochrane of Lake Huntington; 10 grandchildren, Tim Edelmann, Patricia OConnor, Heidi Edelmann, Robin Edelmann, Kara Gavagan, Finn Gavagan, Michael MacNaughton, Jason MacNaughton, Katie MacNaughton, and Jill MacNaughton; a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, sister Helen Lowe and three brothers, Louis Milligan, Everett Milligan and Clark Milligan, predeceased her.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 25 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gaylord Campbell presiding. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

CLARICE M. HERRMANN
Clarice M. Herrmann of Grahamsville, NY, a retired registered nurse and a 60-year resident, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center, Liberty, NY. She was 82.
The daughter of the late John and Katherine Elflein, she was born January 1, 1927 in Queens.
Clarice earned her registered nurse certificate at the Brooklyn School of Nursing and served as a member of the Civil Defense Program until the end of World War II. She continued with the visiting nurse services and participated in the Nurses Health Study Program. After marrying, she joined the Cornell Corporative Extension, where she taught several programs. She served as a 4-H leader in the Town of Fremont and was a member of the Grahamsville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include daughters Kathryn Herrmann and companion Warren Tierney of Neversink, Patricia Herrmann of Miami Beach, FL and Marcia Fink and husband John of Callicoon; brother John Elflein of Texas; son-in-law Larry Mann of West Hurley; and grandson Joseph Mann.
Clarice is predeceased by her husband Rudolph Herrmann; daughter Diane Mann; sisters Elenora Northrup and Octavia Sipple; and brother George Elflein.
Funeral services were on Sunday, September 27 in the Harris Funeral Home, Liberty, with Rev. Allan Wachter officiating. Committal service and burial will be Friday, October 2, at 11:00 a.m. in the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Sunset Lake Road, Liberty.

DORIS E. SCHWEIGHOFER
Doris E. Schweighofer of Tyler Hill, PA and Ona, FL, owner of M and D Citrus Groves, Ona, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2009 at home. She was 84.
The daughter of the late Walter Clayton and Evadne Burcher Blum, she was born August 2, 1925 in Wheeling, WV. Doris was the widow of Miles N. Schweighofer. They were married for 52 years.
Doris graduated from Commercial School and worked for IBM in Newark, NJ. Doris was a former member of Calkins Union Church and of Florida Citrus Regional PFB Wayne Pike Farm Bureau.
Survivors include her three children, Jean Carter and husband Fred of Rawling, NC, Sheila Bochicchio and husband Carl York of Weaverville, NC and Edward Schweighofer and wife Marian of Tyler Hill; twin brother Donald Blum of Calkins; sister Pearl Highhouse of Damascus; grandchildren Jennifer and Jason Carter, Christopher, Jacob, Daniel and Carmen Bochicchio, Jessica, Buddy, Kim, Megan and Cassilyn; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is predeceased by her husband, daughter Karen Swendsen; and sisters Betty Sheard and Mariorie Robinhott.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 30 at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, Narrowsburg, NY, with Rev. Lane Jones officiating. Cremation took place at Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, and burial of the cremains was in Calkins Union Cemetery.

ALBERT A. STALBIRD
Albert A. Stalbird of Hawley, PA passed away on September 21, 2009 at home following a long illness. He was 95.
Born in Moosic, PA on September 24, 1913, Albert is the son of the late Adrian and Catherine Burke Stalbird. Albert was a retired pattern maker for Sherman Mills.
He loved all sports, especially baseball. He was of the Roman Catholic faith.
Albert is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Albert J. and Christina Stalbird of Beach Lake, PA; and sister Geraldine of Maryland.
Albert is predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (Aten) Stalbird; and sisters Rita, Catherine, and Dorothy.
Funeral services were held at Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley on Wednesday, September 23 with Rev. Martin L. Cox Jr. presiding. Interment was in Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley.
PATRICIA WAGNER
Patricia Wagner of Glen Spey, NY, passed away Monday, September 21, 2009 at Memorial-Sloan Kettering Hospital, New York, NY. She was 57.
She was born on January 14, 1952 in Port Jervis, NY, the daughter of Peter Pecirillo and the late Mary Monahan Pecirillo. Patti married Dane Wagner, who survives at home.
She was a retired benefits administrator for Kolmar Labs, Inc., Port Jervis. She was a member of St. Marys R.C. Church, Port Jervis.
In addition to her husband, Patti is survived by her daughter, Meghann Davis and her husband, Christopher of Port Jervis; her father; her sister, Nancy Cacchione of Sparrowbush, NY ; and several cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, September 24, at St. Marys R.C. Church, Port Jervis. Interment took place at St. Marys Cemetery, Port Jervis.

CHERYL S. WEBER
Cheryl S. Weber of Narrowsburg, NY, a retired secretary for Narrowsburg Central School and longtime area resident, died September 21, 2009 at Ellen Memorial Health Care, Honesdale. PA. She was 64.
The daughter of the late Ernest and Bonnie Lee Skinner LaBarr. she was born on December 7, 1945 in Dayton, OH. She was the widow of Norman Weber, who had passed away on February 15, 2005.
Survivors include her daughters, Kelly Spero and husband Bryan and their children Matthew, Camryn and Courtney, all of Brookfield, CT, Karen N. Langel and husband Christopher and their children Alex and Austin, all of Archbald, PA, Kathleen Weber and her daughter Katie Fuchs, both of Narrowsburg, NY, Kasey Yakavonis and husband Michael and their children Emma and Charlotte, all of Woodbury, CT; sisters and brother Doris, Linda and Ernie LaBarr; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
