First Fridays features ‘banned books’ reading

NARROWSBURG, NY — Celebrate your right to read with Vera B. Williams from New York City and Narrowsburg, NY and Ray McNiece from Cleveland, OH on Friday, October 2 at the Tusten-Cochecton branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library. The authors will read their own work plus selections from their favorite banned books at 8:00 p.m. as part of the First Fridays Contemporary Writers Series. There will also be an open mic starting at 7:30 p.m. (sign up at 7:00 p.m.) Prepare one song or poem that is three minutes or less. There are limited spots for the open mic.
