Autumn bird walk

WHITE MILLS, PA — It’s just the beginning of autumn, but many of our summer birds are preparing for their journey south. They will travel long distances and some will move to the warmer climes of the Virginias or Carolinas. Come join the Northeast Pennsylvania Audubon Regional Coordinator of the 2nd PA Breeding Bird Atlas, Barbara Leo, to explore the marvels and end of another breeding season in Northeast Pennsylvania. Participants will host take a long, last look at our guests in Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary on Sunday, September 27 at 1:00 p.m. The Sanctuary is located just off Long Ridge Road and has trails and habitats that will allow us to observe a variety of species. For more information call 570/253-2364.
