Malone brings pulsating, roaring keyboard to Tusten stage
NARROWSBURG, NY Riverfolk concerts will present Bob Malone on Friday, September 18 at 8:00 p.m. in the Tusten Theatre.
Los Angeles-based Malone plays over 100 shows a year all over the world, and he has opened for and/or played with Rickie Lee Jones, The Neville Brothers, Rev. Al Green, Boz Scaggs, Vonda Shepard, Arlo Guthrie and many others. He was featured as a One to Watch artist on NPRs Acoustic Café.
His music has been featured on Car Talk, and the television shows Dr. Phil, The Rachel Ray Show, Jag and All My Children. His latest CD, Born Too Late, is being played on over 300 NPR and adult album alternative radio stations, including steady rotation at XM Satellite Radios Bluesville and The Village.
Keyboard Magazine, in its recent feature article about Malone, said, Bob Malone doesnt just accompany himself on piano. He supports his singing with pulsating, roaring keyboard work that grabs you and shakes you until you cry for mercy.
