Jimmy Sturr headlines Oktoberfest

MONTICELLO, NY — Polka King Jimmy Sturr performs at Oktoberfest on Sunday, September 13 in the Grandstand at Monticello Gaming & Raceway.

The doors will open at 1:00 p.m. for music and dancing. Monticello Casino & Raceway will also offer special Oktoberfest food and drink specials throughout the show.

Sturr, a legendary polka music performer, is a 17-time Grammy Award winner and has performed some memorable shows at Monticello Casino & Raceway over the past few years. During his career, Sturr has recorded with country favorites Charlie Daniels, The Oak Ridge Boys and Willie Nelson. Sturr, a native and resident of nearby Florida, NY performs scores of shows in New York and abroad every year, and has played top venues such as the Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall and the Las Vegas strip.
