Forum Friends exhibit honors Evelyn Porter

HASBROUCK, NY — “Wagon on Hasbrouck Road,” a photograph by Gloria Wagenkencht, will be part of the Forum Friends’ exhibit, “Broad Spectrum,” at the Old Stone House starting on Saturday, September 5 and running through Sunday, September 27. There will be an artists’ reception on Sunday, September 6 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

The show of photography, encaustics, paintings and drawings is dedicated to the memory of former Forum Friend Evelyn Porter, described by the current members, Mary Collier, Caroline Harrow, Ginger Smith and Gloria Wagenkencht, as “the very heart and soul of our group.” Weather permitting, the Catskill Antique Auto Club will host a “Cruise-in” in conjunction with the opening reception.
